If you have ever received a Pages document on a Windows PC or any other computer that does not have Apple’s word processor loaded, you have been unable to view the document easily. Google Drive, Google Docs, Windows, MacBook, iPhone, Android, iOS. You’ll need to choose the quality of your photo and video uploads. Select the radio button next to your preferred option.“High-Quality” will convert your photos and videos to a lesser quality, but these files won’t count towards your storage quota. If you’d prefer to leave these intact, choose the “Original Quality” option. This will use your supplied Google Drive storage quota.Check the “Upload Photos and Videos to Google Photos” checkbox to automatically upload these to Google Photos and then click “Next” to proceed. You’ll then need to decide which folders from your Google Drive storage you want to automatically sync to your Mac to allow you immediate access.Click “Got It” to get started. Select either “Sync Everything in My Drive” to sync all of the files from your Google Drive storage, or select individual files by clicking the “Sync These Folders Only” option. That will provide you with a list of available folders. After signing into the new Gmail account, find the Documents link in the upper left part of the screen. If you don’t already have one, sign up for a free account. This comes standard with any Gmail account.Below is a demonstration video we made. The image below shows that it worked flawlessly on the document we tested.Unfortunately Numbers and Keynote files are not supported. Also the privacy option can be selected here too.Once the file is uploaded, there will be a link to view it within Google Docs on the resulting page. If you wish to import the file into a specific collection, do so before hitting the “Start upload” button by choosing the Destination collection drop down button (see above). It could just be an anomaly.Select the Pages file, if you choose the link instead of drag/drop, and it will start to upload. In our experience the Drag/drop box was not working on a Mac.
